i have been gone, sat we had mike , terri and their kids over for marinara thank god i have my faithful food lovers companion because i can not seem to spell and i made for the first time tiramisu it turned out so good but i don't want to toot my own horn i used a recipe from food network and it is called tra vigne's chocolate tiramisu but instead of store brought cake i used real lady fingers from italy which i got at whole foods. sunday was a take it easy day i was hurting. ronnie he was so good he cleaned up all the christmas decorations from both trees and garlands the house look so clean he is so good. tonight is a take it easy night we are roasting some chicken steaming green beans and i made my scalloped potatoes yummy, watching top chef tonight, the new american idol start next week yea! and today the new ghost hunters international started yea! i think the new parnormal state starts next week to . next week i get my epidural my first one i am scared but i want the pain to go away. so i will be taking it easy the 14th i will be whatching all the chick flicks ronnie dosen't want to see! like queen, the dutches, maid of honor, all the new ones if anyone can help let me know!

friday night ronnie made ratatouille, while he watched to movie when he was making it, he is too cute, i know he combined his recipe's so i will post when i figure it out, then we watched the women total chick flick poor ronnie but there was'nt anything else on

this is nye 2008 at sandy's and allens it was a pajama martini party we had so much fun even though it was last minute. i was so sore the next day ronnie and i danced around. i ended up making the martinis i made a lemon , apple, pomgranite,pear, and pumpkin some one made a milky way that one was really good we took over the tamales we made the night before and i made jalapeno poppers!! and ronnie one poker so maybe it will be a better year!

I haven't posted in awhile, friday i had to work, saturday i got called off yea! mike stayed the night i made my special meat loaf with a ancient chinese secret sauce! we watched dark night it was pretty good but heath ledger did play a very dark part, no wonder he had a hard time sleeping. monday i was off so ronnie made short ribs and over the top potatoes. we call them that because everything is in them. that is a picture of them above then we had gingerbread and pepermint ice cream with sprinkles and watched mama boys another reality show i got ronnie hooked to. tuesday i was off too ronnie decided to make tamales, so he smoked the pork shoulder for 8 hours then make his chili verde val & dave came over and cindy.

to help out rolling tamales poor ronnie watched 4 videos the last one was on utube. they came out really yummy lots of flavor. we ended up ordering pizza i made pomegranate maragarita's they turned out really good my first time i had a good time so next year i think we will make it a tradation before new years so we can eat them ! tonight is nye and we really don't have any plans. who know what we will do. post more next year!

i know i been gone a while dec 20th we had our annual christmas part, the 21st i stayed in bed so tired , the 22 and 23 rd sick stomach stuff and back, but i worked and the 24th i got off at 6pm just in time to make it to vals and daves for cioppinio, it is soo good i think it is from the east coast, she only makes it one time a year! then on christmas i got lc (low censis) so i got called of.

Lisa and Phil invited us over, they were making a ham glaze from emeril and potatoes from paula dean. Ronnies back was hurting so we stayed home and had our own christmas here. ronnie made his own ham glaze using 4 oz of jack daniels , 6 oz of maple syrup, 4 tbs of brown sugar , and some red peper seeds Yummy, he also made the sweet potatoes using brown sugar , butter, cinnimon, nutmeg, 1/3 cup of jack daniels and topped with coconut marshmellos, yummy, and finally he did the cranberries with black berries cooked with oj and a cup of sugar oh so good i think we will always do that. I made my scalloped potatoes with italian blend shreeded cheese, 1 cup of 4 cheese sauce, and left over cream cheese, cheddar cheese and bacon left over from my japs on saturday with half cup of white wine , butter let cook for about a hour with chopped up garlic and onions it was soo good and for dessert i had a scoop of gingerbread and peppermint ice cream topped with cranberries and a sliced of anna's rum cake i went to bed with a coma!

we went to william glen yesterday which is a tradtion for lisa and i, it always gets me in the mood for christmas.
