here are some of the most current recipes i guess i cannot scan my recipes the first recipe is from i think cooking light 2005?
spicy Thai fried rice with shrimp -Anne biedel, kihei,hi made this recipe
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
4 teaspoons minced seeded fresh jalapeno chilies
3 cups cooked jasmine or long grain rice, cold - (though i didn't wait and it still came out fine)
1 to 2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoon Asian fish sauce ( which i had trouble finding so i used oyster sauce)
1 1/4 cups shelled , cooked tiny shrimp or diced cooked pork or chicken 8 oz
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon fresh basil leaves
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1. i used a wok for this i used peanut oil instead of olive oil which the original recipe calls for i cooked the garlic, onions and Chile's about 2 min then i added the rice in a separate bowl i mixed in the sugar the soy sauce and oyster sauce then poured into the wok with the rice mixture then i added the shrimp for about 2-3 min when the shrimp were no longer pink but be careful you do not want to cook the shrimp to long
