dec 19th , holiday party!

lunch at some place called the terrace it was OK but we always go to sac brew and we got up to the building and they were gone they had closed they made the best french dip with beer in the aujus this place was good but the service wasn't that great and Lisa's lunch wasn't very good .

DEC 18Th,2009 trip to William glen with Lisa i love this place even though i went last month they had changed a lot of displays i love it here it always makes me get in the mood for Xmas

cookie baking on DEC 6Th, 2009 i just felt like baking so i baked all day did a couple of new recipes i usually get stuck on a certain kind of cookie like last year i made thumb prints this years i made a lot of sandwich cookies.

pomegranate margaritas!

DEC 6Th tamale making we started this last year and decided to make it a tradition so we get the neighbors together and make tamales and drink pom granite margaritas yum Ronnie does such a good job he smoked the pork shoulder for 10 hours then makes the Chile Verde from scratch then we assemble them there is never enough i don't know how those women do it every year.

DEC 4Th 2009 Xmas tree shopping we always go to the same place pick out a tree and take it home then as we decorate we what ch national lampoons Xmas vacation and elf and sip on oatmeal cookie drink which i will include a recipe on my new recipe icon.

Nov 30Th, or DEC 1st i am not sure but to get in the spirit of Xmas i love going to the local antique mall and walking around to see the old Xmas stuff this picture here is of a old play house decked out i love it but a little over my budget.

i made some more journals i copied off some old prints then stuck them on the front of the journals we will see if they sell!

friday we got up packed up and headed home boy we are exhausted. we made it into roseville it looked like it was going to rain but it waited till we got home then val and i headed over to the black friday sale at green tangerine and then it started to hail we got stuck!! left overs from thanksgiving for dinner yummy

nov 27th, 2009 thanksgiving morning david watching football and macys parade, we got up and starting cooking boy we were so busy all day, i didnt get out of my pjs till 3:30 i then jumped in the shower and got dressed since people were showing up but it was all worth it dinner was great everything turned out i do know ways that it would be changed next time if we cook for so many people again .

mia shredding cheese she found out she like gouda i kept catching her eating more then shredding!

more prepping cutting up carrots, cerely, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, sauage, bacon and making corn bread all for the stuffing . i guess that is why i looked frazzled.

nov 25th 2009, roonie and i drove from sac to visalia went shopping and started to prep for thanksgiving dinner we were up prepping till 1030 or so then we watched 'UP' cute movie but sad. this picture above is of ronnie making the brine you have got to brine your turkey it comes out so tender! infact this year we even convinced my aunt to brine her turkey and she said she loved it it came out so tender that she going to do that from now on.

nov 21st, ronnie made butternut squash soup with the neighbors even veggie hating dave liked it !

no xmas season is complete without going to william glen i love this store! unfrontaley this is the best picture i took val and i went then had lunch at boudin. nov 17th?

nov 16th i had lunch with my friend jd i didnt post a pic of her yet because i think i should let her know if you are friends with me your picture may end up on my blog. we had lunch at awful annies i had never had lunch there before , it was pretty good . since we were in town she came over and saw my house and my very cluttered scrapbook room then i saw her house that she is moving from.

nov 12, 2009 val and i went to apple hill we had a great time though i am not much of a co-pilot i am not very good at directions o-well we got to were we were going. we had lunch up there just simple food but we also stopped for a pumpkin roll, and apple cookies the apple cookies didnt turn out well. we bought our pies for thanksgiving apple and pecan. we end up ending the apple the next weekend so good .

nov 7th, we had every one over for gumbo yummy ! ronnie got the recipe for his father in law he is from la, and it is so awsome, it cant be beat on a cold winter night to warm you up!
