sat we invited the gang over mike joined us for a little bit so we tired our hand at the 80s game ronnie and not pictured devon won i don't know how! we had a great time i love these people. sadie is getting in on the action she just loves to love on people i call her my attention whore she just cant get enough from any one. i am grateful that i found her and she was not microchip ed or tagged during that time there was a lot of foreclosed home i cant just say just then there still is alot of them but i think someone just left her and i went to the local store to get bacon which i was craving i told her if you are here when i get out i will take you home and she sat by the entrance of the store so i bought her home and this has been over 2 years ago so it was meant to be.
Sat got up we went to the local red robin and had lunch i like there apple , goat cheese salad but with the Chinese dressing. we cleaned the house because it really needs it it is only 2 of us and 2 dogs but this house gets so dusty how i don't know? the above picture is of my birthday gift part of it there are 7 framed prints i have many more but this is what we brought home on the train over Easter i love them i have been collecting old crate labels for years they are from local cities around our home town. it reminds me of all the fresh produce that was always in such abundance i miss that my mom and i would can tomatoes, pickled okra, make jams, and dry fruit , i did not understand the importance back then but i did pay attention and still have some knowledge, so this summer i am going to try canning some of our fruit and veggies and if i cant get enough i will head to the local produce stand. most of all i miss my moms tomatoes so juicy !
It must be 5:00 pm because i have a bloody mary and i am scrapping! ronnie makes me bloody mary's when i am off and they are the best i have ever had maybe we will bottle it? friday i met up with lisa and we had lunch at on the border yum! i love there spinach enchilada's and em pandas yummy! then we ran around i found some cool blue pots for the backyard everyday i try to do something back there so it will be pretty by summer and it will feel like we are on vacation. ronnie bbq steak and made his grandmas rice yummy! we watched our tivo'ed AI which i think the right people went home, love ADAM i think he has already won and if not he will get a record deal! and i will buying his cd he reminds me of the cure and edward cullen for those of you that is the main person in twilght. sooo cute, sorry ronnie. we also watched Hells kitchen we think danny may win it is OK not great we both like top chef better the chefs seem more exciting and really try different ideas which we like because we really do experiment in the kitchen.
